There are several things a good matchmaker owes you when introducing you to model quality women or successful men to date. These things may seem basic to you as a potential client, but you would be surprised on how often they do not do the simplest things that I think all matchmaking firms/agencies should be doing.
1. Not showing you pictures.
You’d be surprised how often this happens. Clients of a matchmaker are always entitled to see a picture and get a through biography of the person they are meeting. You’d be surprised to learn that there are some companies that will flat-out refuse to show pictures to their clients. As a professional matchmaker, I always show my clients photos.
2. Having a computer make your match.
Yes, some of the larger companies are guilty of this. They rely on a computer to make the matches, where small companies like mine make matches based on the personality of the two people, and beyond that old-fashioned intuition. What really is the point of going to a company where a computer matches you? You might as well just go to Eharmony or Plenty of Fish…!
3. A company where you sign a year contract for $10,000 or more even before you meet someone.
Yes, this is how most matchmakers work, but not my company. We work with our clients from month to month, this allows our customers the ability to come and leave at any time.
